• The Koffler Group’s investment division has an established track record in diversified investment strategies, global asset allocation, and alternative assets. The family portfolio and charitable foundation have been managed with an eye toward sustainable growth and income for over thirty years. Under the direction of its CIO, Terri Chernick, Koffler’s portfolio has grown to more than forty-five portfolio managers across the spectrum of investable assets, among them long only and short equity strategies, alternatives, and commodities trading. The Koffler investment division maintains strict operational and risk management controls, conducts thorough due diligence, and closely monitors all existing and potential managers. In 2010, Koffler was recognized as Family Office of the Year for its innovation, achievements, and contributions to the alternatives industry at the Institution Investor Magazine’s 8th Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards in New York City View article.

More recently, Koffler’s investment team has expanded its vision toward early stage investments and/or seeding hedge funds. In the summer and fall of 2008, Koffler seeded Echo Bridge Capital, LP. Despite the difficult economic environment, the investment team has a strong ten-year track record as North Hampton Partners and a consistent trading strategy in both up and down markets. Thorough due diligence and Echo Bridge’s strong track record provided Koffler with the confidence to back this emerging manager.
