C. Scott Chernick
Executive Vice President, Property
Management/Development
Mr. Chernick oversees the
property management group at The Koffler Group. He joined
the company in 1988 and is certified as both an Accredited
Residential Manager with the Institute
of Real Estate Management and a Residential Apartment Manager
through the Board of Governors of the National Association
of Home Builders. Prior to his tenure as Executive Vice President,
Mr. Chernick was the Director of Property Management for Pillar
Property Management, a subsidiary he founded in 1993.
Mr. Chernick is responsible
for overseeing the management of over 1.2 million square
feet of retail, office/R&D, and industrial space located
throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Additionally,
as part of Mr. Chernick’s development responsibilities,
he recently completed a HUD financed $2 million rehabilitation
project that encompassed 416 apartment units in Rhode Island.
Mr. Chernick is a graduate of the University of Hartford (BA).
