Arthur J. Schucht
Managing Director, Development
Mr. Schucht came to The Koffler
Group in 1996 with over forty years of real estate development
and construction experience. Prior to joining Koffler, Mr.
Schucht was President of Development and Construction for
the Rockefeller Group, where he headed up a national joint
venture building program with Fortune 500 partners that included
Ford Motor Company, Continental Insurance, Wells Fargo Bank,
and Irving Trust Company. Prior to his work at Rockefeller,
Mr. Schucht held the position of Director of Real Estate and
Development/Acquisition for the Tribune Company of Chicago.
Following his work at Rockefeller and the Tribune Company,
Mr. Schucht consulted for a number of banking clients including
Citibank, New York; Peoples Bank, Gateway Bank, and CityTrust,
Connecticut; First Fidelity, New Jersey; and RI Hospital Trust,
Rhode Island. His work included the review, evaluation, and
estimated value and completion costs for a number of bank
financed real estate development projects. During this time,
Mr. Schucht was also involved in a number of major retail
developments, completing projects in both New York and Connecticut
on behalf of Caldor’s, K Mart, Toys R Us, Stop &
Shop, Big Y Foods, Wal-Mart and Home Quarters.
