Terri S.Chernick
Chief Investment Officer
As Chief Investment Officer,
Ms. Chernick oversees the firms investments in equities,
fixed income, venture capital and other partnerships.
Prior to joining
the Koffler Group in 1997, Ms. Chernick worked as a management
consultant at Bain & Company. At Bain, she helped develop
and implement business strategies for Fortune 500 and biotechnology
companies that allowed them to sustain competitive advantages
in their respective industries.
Capitalizing on her
biotechnology experience, Ms. Chernick subsequently took marketing
positions at Merck and then Amgen. In 1996 she co-founded
Zycos Pharmaceuticals, a Massachusetts-based biotech company
where she served as its Chief Operating Officer. Following
her association with Zycos, Ms. Chernick started Bioseer,
a venture fund responsible for investing in start-up companies.
Ms. Chernick graduated
magna cum laude from Brown University in 1987 and from Harvard
University Graduate School of Business, with honors, in 1992.
